opening for a SQL Developer located in Van Nuys, CA. This is a full-time position and our client is only interested in local candidates to the area. The salary ranges from 60-100K, depending on experience and our client is only interest in US Citizens or Green Card Holders.  

The primary responsibility of the SQL Developer is to design, maintain and manage custom relational and multidimensional databases and provide reporting to clients and end-users. Also will perform duties as delegated by the IT/IS Manager

Design, Implement and Manage custom databases

Design and Build cubes

Design and build custom reports

Aggregate data from multiple sources into a data warehouse.

Maintain utmost confidentiality when working with sensitive information and

Provide Analytics and Support for departments as needed

Assist in helping IS dept with data management when needed

Assist in creating new systems/procedures for increasing department efficiency

Maintain system and procedure documentation

Assist in a variety of miscellaneous projects as directed by Management

Demonstrate ability to multi-task and maintain excellent organizational skills

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years experience working on highly detail oriented projects that involve designing relational and multidimensional database schemas, applying data mining algorithms. Experienced using SQL stored procedures and MDX Queries. Data warehousing reports and applications experience. SSIS, SSAS and SSRS experience needed as well. Use with .NET, C++, Java and Visual Studio is a plus. Experience with ETL Architecture. Familiarity with the Microsoft BI Stack.
