An experienced Sage 200 C# .NET Developer is required to join a Peterborough-based team of developers working with Sage and Microsoft products. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and maintain a pleasant and professional manner at all times.

Good time-keeping, an eye for detail, accuracy, commitment and the desire to produce work of an exceptional standard are essential.

On-site development, support and consultancy work is frequent so the successful candidate must be confident, well presented and personable.

A knowledge and understanding of business processes (Sales, Marketing, Finance and Support etc.) would be a distinct advantage.

Essential technical skills:

• C# .NET 3.5+
• SQL Server / TSQL
• ObjectStore
• HTML, JavaScript, XML
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) or Web Services
• VBScript

Desirable technical skills:

• Crystal Reports
• Java, HTML5
• Use of Source Control Systems
• SQL Reporting Services
• SQL Integration Services

Training will be provided on our clients proprietary systems (End User and Development) and processes, however it is expected that the successful candidate will be a fast learner and will be able to progress at a good pace using their own initiative.
