Development / Fundraising Coordinator 

Livengrin Foundation is a comprehensive behavioral health program specializing in the treatment of alcohol and drug addiction. Livengrin’s mission is to empower the individual to embrace recovery and break the cycle of addiction by providing comprehensive, integrated and holistic treatment services. In 1966 Livengrin Foundation began as one of Pennsylvania’s first non-profit treatment centers. Since then more than 100,000 people have come through its doors to begin a journey to recovery. Livengrin’s programs have grown with the emerging needs of the marketplace. The original location in Bensalem, just north of Philadelphia, served the rapidly-expanding “commuter communities” of the metropolitan area. Over the past two decades, the Foundation has expanded into a network of counseling centers throughout Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, Lehigh and Philadelphia counties. The main campus is also centrally located to the I-95 corridor between New England, the New York-Philadelphia-Baltimore-DC metropolitan region and the southern states. Position Summary

Livengrin Foundation is seeking a creative and energetic person to help launch the Foundation’s new Development Office. We are looking for a hands-on leader with solid experience in all aspects of fundraising (particularly in a healthcare environment) with the desire to help a stable and dynamic organization reach the next level. The successful candidate will also work closely with our community/public relations staff, as well as Livengrin’s other professional departments to achieve overall objectives.  Experience in marketing and/or advertising a plus.


Responsibilities for this role include managing the fundraising efforts of the Foundation, the formulation and implementation of strategic fundraising programs, helping to establish a culture of giving within the organization, and managing donor and alumni relationships. This position reports to the CEO, and serves as the staff support for the Development and Marketing Committees of the Board of Directors. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • Direct experience with Major Gifts solicitation, Annual Appeals, and donor      cultivation.    
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Experience in market development and research is a plus.
  • Experience in community and public relations.
  • Knowledge of organizational and strategic planning 

This is a full time position which at times requires irregular hours and significant interaction with executive management, department managers, board members and other volunteers, professional staff and outside fundraising sources. To discharge successfully the responsibilities of this role the incumbent must communicate effectively both orally and in writing and exercise in a credible fashion sound judgment, prudence and creativity.
