Our client, located in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Jr. Systems Administrator with an IT Focus for an immediate full-time position.  Details include:

This person will be reporting to the Network and Security Computer Manager, Jr. Network Administrator will assist with the installation, configuration, testing, monitoring and support of all servers and networking devices managed by the group. 

Responsibilities
-Handling the daily and monthly off-site tape backup and recovery process
-Management of the client's relational databases

-Providing support to other Computing staff on rotational basis staffing the off-hours on-call computer support service.

Requirments:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

-Experience with the Linux operating system

-Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6

- Apache,

-MySQL

-Sendmail, basic shell scripting, and server hardware

Position will involve exposure to technologies including VMWare vSphere, NetApp, F5, Proofpoint, Solaris, Cisco IOS, Nagios, RT and configuration management tools.  Therefore experience in these areas will also be viewed a major plus.
