Job Description

 

Our client, a Fortune 100 company in the Greater Boston area, is currently looking for a Treasury Analyst. As the Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day cash and bank account management for the company, under the direction of the Treasury Manager. This will consist of:

  • Making cash management decisions through analysis and preparation of various reports (cash position, targets, and activity reports)
  • Concentrating and dispersing funds
  • Coordinating activities with various internal departments and external financial institutions
  • Maintaining the company’s banking information, its bank account, databases, assistance, and coordination of other treasury related special projects

The position is heavily involved in managing day to day cash operations, coordinating with banks on various issues and services, maintaining the bank account databases and assisting with various special projects. Working under the direction of the Treasury Manager, the Treasury Analyst is responsible for opening and maintaining all of the documentation relating to the Company’s bank accounts including contracts, signature cards, and lists of services used and authorized users of services. To assist in this the company will have a database that tracks bank account information which is also required to be maintained by the Treasury Analyst. Participate in special projects, such as ad-hoc analyses and system implementation

This role requires a working knowledge of Excel and multiple banking software packages. You will:

  • Support the analytic needs of the Treasury Manager or Treasurer.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improvements to the cash process and other related treasury projects Integral part of projects related to Treasury v Responsible for cash management systems (e.g. CitiDirect, and BofA CashPro)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or Finance preferred)
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented with ability to multitask
  • Must be able to produce excellent quality work that is thorough, accurate and complete
  • Good communication skills – written and oral
  • Strong computer and financial systems skills required
  • Accounting and/or cash management background necessary
  • Communicate effectively with outside bankers, and internal customers
