Global Software company has 1+ year contract assignment:

                                                        Work with established team of SQA Engineers, Developers and   Product Managers on testing web and API based applications.

Responsibilities include

1. Define,   document, verify, and execute test cases including functional and regression   testing.
2. Write   and maintain test plans, process defect reports, and perform black box   testing.
3. Suggest,   implement, and evaluate approaches to testing strategies in the test   environments.
4. Perform   tests, report problems encountered, verify defects when fixed, and document   test procedures to verify problem fixes.
5. Execute   comprehensive test plans, processing defect reports.
6. Ensure   that products meet or exceed quality standards.

Self-starter who is able to work in a team environment with   minimal supervision. Must be able to deal with ambiguity, maintain   priorities, learn quickly, and have good time management and problem solving   skills.

Strong analytical skills are critical, as is a basic   understanding of QA principals, methodologies, and planning.

Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Ability to troubleshoot and work around problem areas of   products.

Minimum of 2 years commercial QA experience required.

  
• Testing web        applications manually and using automated test tools such as Selenium
  
• Testing SOAP        interfaces using SOAP UI
  
• Testing        financial and/or secure systems
  
• Experience        using defect tracking systems

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, EE or Mathematics.   Professional Certifications a plus.
