About The Opportunity
° 52K Annual Patient Volume  |  42-bed ED
     · 20% of this volume is seen in the FastTrack Unit
     · Fast Track is staffed by mid-level providers
° Physician Coverage: 8 hours of double coverage  |  2 hours of triple coverage  |  14 hours of quadruple coverage
° Non-designated Trauma Level III (Blunt: 80% | Penetrating: 20%)
° Patient ratio: Adult: 70% | Geriatric: 23%  |  Peds: 5%  | OB: 2%
° ED physicians do not respond to house codes
° Hospitalists on staff write admitting orders

Candidate Requirements
° Active Massachusetts Medical License
° Active ACLS Life Card
° Must meet one of the following criteria:
     · ABEM or AOBEM Certified or Prepared
     · Grandfathered ABEM or AOBEM; AAPS
     · ABIM or ABFP Certified with recent emergency medicine experience

 
Compensation and Benefits
° $230/hr. (negotiable based on increased shift commitment)
° Paid malpractice / tail coverage
° Paid travel / lodging expenses
