RCS has an immediate need for a Welding Supervisors in Lake Charles, LA.   This is direct-hire opportunity offering benefits, relocation assistance, and competitive pay. 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years welding experience.
• Must have a hands-on background in welding/fabrication with structural steel. 
• Prefer nuclear industry experience.  Similar backgrounds that have proven successful have been ship building and/or tank fabrication. 
• Strong background and ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints for fitting and welding in a fabrication environment. 
• Ability to communicate effectively with welders, fitters and management. 
• Strong supervisory experience including excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with MIG and/or MIG Pulse welding. 
• Formal training in Blueprint reading and welding

Required:

• Must be able to work rotating shifts
