A well-established insurance organization is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join their fast-paced team! This person must have experience creating and issuing binders, policies, and endorsements as well as supporting underwriters/brokers in screening mail and correspondences. This position will work directly within the excess division of the underwriting department and will have a heavy focus in General Liability & Casualty. The ideal employee will have a Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of insurance experience working specifically with commercial P&C. An in-depth understanding of the casualty line of business is a must!
