Job Description

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Have a minimum 5-6 years experience in preparing, reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts, including independent contractor agreements, technology agreements, services agreements, licenses, NDAs, statements of work, RFPs, and other documentation. Have the ability to draft, read, research, interpret, and understand these types of documents.
Relevant work experience is absolutely required for this position.
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency; must be able to adapt to new contracts managements systems.

Prepare, draft and negotiate contracts and other types of documents under the direction of the coverage attorney in accordance with deal terms provided by several company divisions. Please note this is NOT an attorney position.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparing, reviewing, drafting, negotiating and amending a wide variety of contracts and other types of documents under the direction of the coverage attorney in accordance with deal terms provided by the various groups and divisions. Experience drafting and negotiating contracts is absolutely required for this position.
This person will need familiarity with a wide variety of contracts and contract issues, including NDAs/confidentiality agreements, independent contractor agreements, services agreements, work-for-hire issues, and technology agreements.
Responding to a wide variety of client requests and needs; supporting sales team that require quick turnarounds.
Guiding and counseling clients on all types of business and legal issues.

This is a integral and fast-paced position that will entail;
Preparing, drafting, negotiating and processing contracts and other legal agreements and paperwork. This role requires someone to work independently while liaising with several in-house departments and client groups.
In-house contracts management experience strongly preferred.
Be able to handle a heavy workload, prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Be skilled at negotiating and drafting contracts, both legal and business issues.
Have excellent organizational skills, communications skills, and good judgment.
Have knowledge of industry language and terminology, clauses and standard procedures.
Be able to translate deal terms into an agreement and to draft language when no precedent is available.
Be a self-starter who can work independently to handle projects in a timely manner with little supervision. Have ability to use judgment and discretion in solving problems and making decisions while being compliant with company policy guidelines.
Be able to improve and facilitate office procedures, systems, practices and duties with respect to the smooth and speedy flow of the process.
