Our client is a global leader in power transmission systems.
They are currently looking for 3 Bid Project Managers.
Responsibilities
Undertake the role of Bid Project Manager (manage the bid process) for assigned proposals with the objective of securing quality orders for projects within UK and overseas markets.
The role will potentially cover the bid management of all proposals up to Category A projects. However, actual assigned bids will depend upon the individuals competencies and experience.
Under certain circumstances, the individual may be assigned into a supporting role to a more experienced Bid Project Manager or undertake a bid management role with additional supervision.
Requirements
- Experience managing the bidding process for multi million pound projects in a large organization.
- Ability to build strong internal relationships across departments.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience of the Transmission and Distribution industry would be preferred. however, those with a background in working for large engineering companies will also be considered.
