Description:

Our client is seeking an iOS Developer for a contract to supplement their internal development efforts. This will be a 3 month contract and possibly longer or opportunity to convert to direct hire for the right candidate with .Net background.

iOS Developer is responsible for supporting software applications through the entire software development life cycle. Participates in exploring business needs, requirements analysis, development, testing, production support and general maintenance for all systems of responsibility.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Must have skills:

• Hands-on programming experience in full life-cycle projects using Apple iOS client applications that consume (REST) web services.

• Hands-on experience with at least 3-5-years experience using Apple Xcode and Visual Studio 2008-2010.

• A minimum of five (5) years experience developing Microsoft-based enterprise web applications, 5-10 years total IT experience.

• .NET 4.0 Framework, ASP.NET, Web Services (WCF, REST), IIS, SQL Server 2008, and ADO.NET (or LINK), JavaScript, AJAX, XML and CSS background is helpful.

• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of multi-tier and cross-platform architectures.

• Knowledge of OOP methodologies and SOA.

• Ability to work independently and a self-starter.

• Excellent team-player, excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, proven track record of success, able to multi-task and prioritize workload according to corporate priorities and critical issues.

Nice to have skills:

• Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.

• Expertise with 3rd party .NET tools, such as Telerik and DevExpress.

• MS-SharePoint development experience.
