PaaS Developers (Operating System Services)

Location: Tokyo - JAPAN

My client has more than 70 million users and some of the most popular Internet services in Japan today. A lot of services are generated every day and they need more competitive platform. Their mission is creating more flexible, agile and cost competitive platform to achieve "No1 global internet service company".

This is a requirement for the development of My clients Global Platform as a Service infrastructure development.

Their PaaS is based on top of CloudFoundry, which is open source product for PaaS.

They are contributing to the CloudFoundry kernel, and developing peripheral systems.

Your role will be to be responsible for the development and operations of NoSQL platform services.

Minimum Qualifications and Responsabilities:

• You are able to design, implement and release a middleware services (such as postfix, syslog, monit, nfs, apt, yum, ...etc) attached as Operating System
• Application Development Experiences (more than 1 years)
• Linux administration and operations (more than 2 years)
• Programming Language (more than 1 e.g. Ruby, Java, JavaScript)
• Knowledge of operating system design and implementation.
• Strong passion and positive mind set for success.
• Open Source contributions for OS(kernel or distributions) products (Document translations, study session and patch contributions)
• Business level English (to discuss with Open Source developers in the world)
• Have TOEIC score over 650
• Japanese a strong plus
