System Operation:
Operate and maintain the SmartMeter™ systems to deliver the intended business and customer benefits.
Monitor and troubleshoot private communication network(s), and supervise corrective maintenance to resolve exceptions.
Investigate, analyze and resolve meter exceptions.
Prepare and execute test plans for new products, features or functionality.
Take ownership of team goals and consistently help the team to excel.
Prepare operational statistics and reports.
Report system defects and enhancement requests.
Test new system functionality and defect patches.
Business Process Development/Improvement:
Develop cross-unit business processes necessary to support and integrate SmartMeter™ systems.
Monitor that supporting organizations are performing at levels specified in Service Level Agreements.
Create and document clear, concise operating and analytical procedures.
Develop and deliver educational and training presentations.
Safety:
Maintain an absolute commitment to the safety of self and co-workers.
Actively look for and resolve unsafe situations.
Promote safety awareness and education among team members.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
BSEE
Exceptional analytical ability
Excel and database skills (ACCESS)
Ability to manage time-sensitive priorities in fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous situations
Track record of meeting and/or exceeding business commitments
Strong initiative, teamwork, accountability for results, customer focus, and sound judgment
Project management experience
Desired Qualifications
Professional Engineer License
2+ years post-graduate engineering experience
Operations experience
SCADA experience
Hardware/software troubleshooting experience
Metering and/or substation experience
System integration experience
