• Summary
  • The Software Engineer will work our Systems Implementation and Services Team to deliver enterprise class IT solutions to Federal Customers.
  • This colleague will create automation shell, python, powershell, and PERL scripts.
  • This position will analyze critical configuration files and attributes and develop automation scripts that effectively deploy the desired configuration.
• Requirements
  • The position requires that the candidate have extensive experience using one or more scripting languages preferably in a large server enterprise environment.
  • Additional experience in application administration, JBoss, security compliance or Weblogic is desired.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience contributing to projects, a deep understanding of the application development lifecycle, strong work ethic, a proven ability to work well in a highly dynamic environment and a passion for application development and the latest technical advancements.
  • Security Clearance: Must have or be able to obtain a TS level security clearance.
• Experience Necessary
  • 3 to 5 years of shell scripting, python, powershell and/or PERL development.
    •  Large enterprise experience a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and senior professionals across functions; and have strong influencing and leadership skills.
  • A strong understanding of complex concepts related to computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices.
  • An in-depth knowledge and certification in any of the following hardware / software platforms is a plus:

Linux, Windows, SQL, Report Development, NetApp, VMware, BladeLogic (BMC Software), PERL, PowerShell, JBoss, Puppet.
