Job Function:

This position will generally report to the Director of Program Management or a Senior Program Manager. The Program Manager will generally be responsible for P & L of major programs and/or products.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility and authority for assigned programs and/or products.
• Program planning and implementation functions.
• Proposal and RFQ support activities.
• Follow-on business opportunities identification and coordination with Business Development.
• Supervision of Program Managers and/or Associate Program Managers and their responsibilities.
• Customer liaison and satisfaction.

Education:

•  Four year Bachelor degree in Business Administration (preferred), Engineering or equivalent field of study required.

•  Four to eight years progressive experience in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent field of work demonstrating good management abilities.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

•  Good organization and leadership skills

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Good technical understanding of products under his/her assignment
• Good entrepreneurial abilities

• Good knowledge of PC applications (Windows, Word, Excel desirable)
