This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Controls Coordinator to join our team in Austin, TX.  Under general supervision, the Project Controls Coord. will support the Program Controls department to prepare, analyze and evaluate financial data.  Position will be responsible for budgets, forecasts, revenue projections and invoices on projects and will support team in preparation of charts for program reviews.  The candidate will work closely with Financial Analyst team members, Program Management, Contracts and various Accounting functions to ensure timely and accurate reporting, resolution of issues, invoicing and various daily task assignments as needed, often under tight deadlines.
 
 
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN WITH THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A U.S. SECURITY CLEARANCE.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain program budgets and estimate to complete projections.
  • Analyze project cost and schedule data to ensure profit objectives and customer schedule are met and make recommendations to resolve budget/funding problems..
  • Generate project revenue forecasts and determine if revenue is meeting financial targets and report issues to management.
  • Coordination with various departments to support and generate monthly invoices and month end close processes.
  • Responsible for assisting the Financial Analysts with tracking and resolving discrepancies and outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner
  • Assist with the preparation of budget work authorizations and charge number matrices to initiate project work.
  • Support Program Controls group with various daily tasks to support internal and external reporting, contract closeouts, contract briefs and multiple weekly/monthly status reports.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Requires 0-3 years of related financial experience
