Our Client is a Nat'l Public Accounting firm working with some of the largest Federal Govt. clients in the DC area and has been cited as one of the Top 5 Largest CPA Firm's in the Country.

Due to continued growth and expansion, our Client has over 10 IT Audit/Compliance Projects currently underway that has created a tremendous need for several IT Audit Staff for permanent assignments.

Job Description

This position will be asked to review systems of internal control, identify systems weaknesses, and help the client plan a solution to prevent potential security threats. You will be part of a dynamic and growing group of 15-20 IT Audit Staff, with over 250-300 total Audit Staff.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

Apply current knowledge of IT trends and risks to identify security and risk management improvement opportunities to enhance value to our clients

Work within a team environment to assess the security of complex information systems

Preparing reports in a clear, concise and timely manner, discussing audit reviews with senior members of the audit team, and identifying misstatements, errors, and control weaknesses within the audited operations

Review and evaluate internal control systems and collaborate with clients to develop and implement security policies, plans and strategies

Identify information technology system risks and assess potential impact of risks on the organization

Summarize and document results of audit testing for management reporting including proper disposition of test exceptions

Utilize industry best practices to recommend integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary data and systems are protected

Required Skills:

BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Information Technology, Information Systems, Accounting or a related field

At least 1-2 years of experience in related field with at least one year auditing utilizing FISCAM or COBIT

Background in finance and/or accounting and CISA Certification REQUIRED

Strong understanding of ERP systems and the core business cycles which contribute to the overall integrity of financial statements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to obtain a U.S. secret level security clearance REQUIRED
