Senior Project Manager, contract (6+ months)
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
About the Client:
Our client is a faith-based child advocacy ministry that focuses on global aid for children. As a consultant for this company, you will be joining a world leader among child development ministries.
The selected candidate will perform the following activities:
- Work with multiple teams
- Provide support for technical project for HR apps
- Development of infrastructure release window processes
- Other infrastructure projects
- Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Tracks project milestones and deliverables.
- Directs and manages project development from beginning to end. Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.

- Projected Length of Contract: 6 months
- Possibility of extension: Yes
- It is expected that this resource will work an average 8 hours per day during the contract period. Any hours over 8 hours per day/40 hours per week will be paid at straight time (no time and a half, etc.)
Years of Experience: 7+ years Project Manager experience
Qualifications:
- Strong Business Analyst/Systems Analyst skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Experience creating or overseeing effort to create technical solutions for business requirements
- Ability to adhere to procedures
- Experience providing oral and written status to various levels of management
- Ability to create, maintain levels of effort, project plans, and team work efforts
- Experience in risk management and mitigation/resolution creation
- Ability to drive large, complex project in a multi-department portfolio
- Effectively utilizing recognized PM tools including: work breakdown structures, resource management, risk management, issues management, financial management, contract , and stakeholder management
- Strong technical skills with ability to manage projects involving a variety of technologies
- Organizational skills – resource planning – allocation/utilization
- Leadership experience, ability to set direction, drive team to meet objectives, leading by example and teamwork
- Excellent communication skills - – resource planning and understand the theory and practice of resource allocation including facilitation, consulting, negotiation, presentation, and coaching
- Strategic planner
- Experienced change agent
Required Skill Set:
- Windows 7, Microsoft Office 10 Suite, MS Project, Visio,
- PlanView would be nice
- Experience defining/identifying Technology and Regulatory
Certifications/Education:
- PMP (strongly preferred), BA in Computer Science, Technology, Business or Equivalent Experience
Hardware / Software to be Used:
- Windows 7, Microsoft Office 10 Suite, Ms Project, Visio,
- PlanView would be nice

The following timeline is applicable to this request:
