KEY ACCOUNT/NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER  

Garden Grove, CA

Start $83K + bonus & profit share ($10-12,000)                      

Progressive Computer Electronics distributor is looking for a Key Account/National Account Manager to join their fast growing company.  This person will manage key accounts; maintain long term relationships with accounts and maximize sales opportunities within them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To closely manage and develop existing customers by employing a consultative, partnership approach
  • To be involved in developing account management strategies and tactical plans for all

        assigned key accounts

  • To conduct a number of customer meetings in line with the agreed sales plan, focusing on understanding the customers business, identifying their needs and proposing appropriate product
  • Establish buying influences, budgets, and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Achieves assigned sales quota in designated key accounts
  • To increase the value of the portfolio in line with the agreed annual sales plan
  • To collaborative with the Marketing team to maximize opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree, in a business related area or equivalent related work experience
  • Three to five years of work experience as a Key Account Manager in a consumer electronic accessory field required
  • Intermediate computer proficiency and skills Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
