Salary:          £35,000 - £45,000 (Dependant on Experience)

Location:      Cambridgeshire

The Company

A dynamic and ground breaking technology house with operations from Asia through Europe to the Americas. My client specializes in the latest, cutting-edge IPTV and media streaming hardware & technologies.

The Role:

The, Software Developer, will be expected to develop and support the latest software for Hybrid & OTT Set Top Boxes as well as development for future products. You will also be working with software development teams, product owners and stakeholders to establish product requirements.

The Candidate:

You, the Software Developer, will have strong skills and experience in the following areas:

• Highly experienced in object-orientated programming (OOP)
• Strong C / C++ Programming
• Experience developing for Linux platform.
• Need to be a strong team player with exceptional communications skills as well as capable of working on your own initiative.

Along with the essential criteria, experience in the following areas would be highly desirable:

• Developing in a MeeGo environment.
• UI design and development
• Exposure to Git and OBS
• Experience in the some or all of the following: Glib, GTK, Vala, OpenGL, Clutter, Webkit and/or DBus.
