Global leading Institutional and retail Investment Management company is going through a period of expansion due to an increase in client activity. Our client, based in the City of London is looking to add a Financial Accountant to the UK Finance team. Responsible for the accurate and timely financial accounting and control for the group companies, including periodic reporting to the management and shareholders, duties will include:

-         Preparation of accurate and timely accounting and reporting

-         Accounting for certain expenses and investment result entries

-         Monthly reporting including the production of group management accounting

-         Quarterly reporting including the production of the financial accounting pack

-         Preparation of forecast and budget data

-         Provide support to preparation of ICAAP financial modelling

-         Preparation of annual statutory accounts and audit file for external audit

-         Liaison with various internal and external departments/companies

-         Ad-hoc projects including development of controls and processes

To qualify for this excellent position you must have 3, 4 or 5 years financial accounts work experience from the financial Services sector (would be great from the Investment/Asset Management side or related) together with being a qualified accountant. ideally have UK and IFRS financial accounting and regulatory understanding.
