Job Description

We are currently seeking Web Developers that have RIA - Rich Internet Application development experience for long term consulting opportunities. The individual in this role will be responsible for the creation of web applications as well as performing a full spectrum of Web related tasks including server-side programming. This individual will be primarily working with the EXTJS framework to develop software applications

Working together with a talented technology team the role offers the individual an excellent opportunity to grow skills and gain experience in the development of enterprise level software.

Brief Job Requirements Overview:

· Perform a full spectrum of Web development related tasks including design, application development and optimization, and unit testing.

· Perform server-side programming (primarily JSP/DB2).

· Use ExtJS to develop software applications.

· Develop and implement moderately complex to complex web on one or more platforms.

· Perform web UI based performance tuning and optimization.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following technical skills:

- Web technologies JSP, Servlets, HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, DOJO, JSON, Rest style services, J2EE

- Basic Database/SQL Experience with DB2 (or similar) and Java Persistence

- 2+ years with a RIA/Web 2.0 development framework (YUI or ExtJS experience is a +)

- 2+ years AJAX experience

- Good Foundation in JavaScript Object Programming

- Experience in utilizing IDE tools such as Eclipse

- Knowledge/Experience of using CVS
