Our client is a global provider of customer insight and strategy, loyalty and marketing programs, and customer experience management. They are currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to assist in-house Infrastructure Consultants, Technical Specialists & Development.

4.Active Directory - Intermediate level
Job Description:
-The role is responsible for designing and maintaining infrastructure systems and business application servers.
-Work with development project teams to design, build, test and implement medium and high complexity project environments.
-Working in uncharted territory where similar environments may not exist in Company's organization, the System Administrator may design, build and test different configurations to identify the appropriate solution.
-Assists Infrastructure Consultants and Technical Specialists with testing new technologies and methodologies.
-Resolves Level 2 system problems either independently or as part of a team, seeks and obtains support from software vendors, hardware manufacturers and/or appropriate in-house experts if needed.
-Designs deployment architecture for medium and complex development projects.
-60% of the position will involve participating in IT infrastructure and development projects and providing subject matter expertise, designing deployment architecture for medium and complex development projects. Typically works simultaneously on 2 major initiatives as prime and 2-3 smaller initiatives.
The balance of the position will:
-Troubleshoot and resolve technical operational issues related to IT Infrastructure such as Level 2 trouble shooting with the development teams on an application that is not working as designed
-Conducts research and testing related to assigned development projects and infrastructure initiatives, recommends solutions and/or changes to improves performance, stability, functionality or systems management processes
-Provide 3rd level support for Production incidents as needed, performs emergency remediation if necessary. Conduct post-incident root cause analysis.
-Participate in the change management process to ensure changes are understood and planned for.
-Review technical aspects of the change for assigned initiatives. Executes technical tasks assigned.
-Research, analyze and resolve security vulnerabilities
-Create technical documentation
-Mentor & coach two Junior Windows Systems Administrators.

Must haves:
1.Citrix - (XenApp and XenDesktop) at a Senior level.
2.VMWare - at a Senior level.
3.Exchange - Intermediate level.
4.Active Directory - Intermediate level.
Other Requirements:
-5+ years of recent and related Windows server experience at a senior level
-5 + years of messaging experience at an intermediate level (MS Exchange 2003/2007/2010, mail filtering and management)
-3+ years Citrix experience at a senior level
-3+ years of VMware experience at a senior level
-5+ years of hardware experience at an intermediate level (sizing, capacity planning)
-Experience in managing small infrastructure projects
-Excellent report and documentation writing skills
Other required skills for this position:
-Practical experience managing network software and hardware devices
-Excellent troubleshooting skills
-Very good presentation skills (5-10 people)
Education/Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED
College certificate/Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
VMware sphere 4.0, Citrix 5.0/6.0 certifications are preferred
