Our client is a leading, regional independent Travel Agent and is looking to recruit a full time Travel Consultant in its Weymouth branch.

The main responsibility is to assist in the smooth running of the branch recommending and selling a range of worldwide holiday products and services direct to customers. Successful candidates will actively participate in sales generation in order to increase company profitability and reputation whilst providing the best possible service and holiday to clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for travel sales professionals to join an expanding independent agent.

Candidate Requirements

Good travel sales background with ABTA retail experience
ABTA qualification advantageous
Good numeracy skills
IT literate
Ability to identify and act on upselling opportunities
A positive attitude and commitment to ensuring the customer always comes first
Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively at all levels
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Well organised with strong time management skills
Able to perform under pressure
Passion for travel and providing a quality service
The desire and initiative to achieve and exceed targets
Approachable manner with both colleagues and clients

Remuneration

Competitive salary plus commission
