Partner Staffing is currently working to find a number of talented Safety Officers with Highrise experience. Our Client is a well known and respected builder accross Canada.

Description

In this role you will work closely with the Site Superintendents on a number of projects. You will ensure that the safety initiatives of the organization are carried out at the site locations. You will work with Alberta Occupational Health to respond to concerns. You will inspect contractors to ensure compliance to safety initiatives and conduct safety meetings. You will complete reports that detail short falls and corrective measures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be an exceptional individual and possess the following qualifications

CSO Certification

Conducting Site Safety Orientations
Assisting subcontractors with safety compliance by providing guidance and information
Dealing directly with unsafe situations
Developing Safe Work Procedures for specialized work at the site.

Exceptional communication skills

Leadership qualities

Knowledge of relative safety legislations (AOH, ASHA, etc)
