Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer for a permanent opportunity in the Atlanta area.

The Business Intelligence Developer will design, develop and maintain Business Objects, universes and reports. The purpose of this position is to work with key users to define reporting and information needs, and develop intuitive reports to meet those needs.

Responsibilities include:

 Develop reports using Crystal Reports and Business Objects.

 Exercise strong database skills in a SQL Server environment developing stored procedures.

 Support and improve legacy reporting and information environment.

 Use your relational database design skills to improve our report systems.

 Create and maintain Business Objects Universes and metadata in our architecture.

 Develop intuitive, easy to use visual summaries and report detail with Business Objects query and reporting environment.

 Design/develop optimized historical data stores - detail and summary / aggregate data stores.

 Apply experience with data quality improvements (front end and back end).

 Deliver dashboards, drill-downs, and dynamic reports.

 Use communication skills to foster and maintain collaborative relationships with Business Data Analysts.

Qualifications-

 Bachelors’ degree in Business, Accounting, or Business Information Systems is preferred.

 4-7 years BI and data analytical skills.

 Solid business analyst and requirements definition skills.

 Experience with data modeling/architecture for BI.

 Knowledge of ETL (DTS or BO).

 3-5 years experience with Crystal.

 5-7 years Business Objects development experience required.
