Our Client is looking for Product Manager in New York City, NY. This is Full time Permanent position and the Salary range is DOE.
The Digital Product Manager is responsible for managing all digital initiatives within the Technology Group. The ideal candidate should be equally strong in both online marketing and project management. In order to be successful at this role, the candidate must have enough knowledge of the digital industry to act a strategic leader for the group and strive to push our overall digital growth. At the same time, the candidate must have the operational skills necessary to manage multiple projects and lead the day-to-day activities required to run an online business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Understanding, documenting and communicating the business needs for all digital initiatives
Creating and executing a roadmap for all existing digital products -- including future enhancements, additional revenue streams and mobile strategies
Monitoring and evaluating the digital marketplace -- with a focus on competitors in the industry -- to determine how the Tech Group can capitalize on emerging trends and technologies.
Creating business plans and leading the market-facing side of new product development opportunities (i.e. product, pricing, promotion)
Proactively use analytical tools to shape the content/product focus of your group and increase traffic, digital revenue and customer retention
Managing the development of all sales and marketing materials related to online products
Ensuring that the group is utilizing industry best-practices in all phases of online marketing, including: social media, SEO and SEM, digital newsletters and other lead generation programs
Responsible for the overall execution of digital operations
Increasing the digital IQ of all co-workers in your group. This includes training others on the latest trends in the industry, conducting SEO reviews with internal resources and marketing/editorial team and enforcing best practices in the daily digital operations
Meeting with key customers to help sales team articulate digital opportunities and close deals
Acting as the primary contact for editorial, sales and marketing staff for all things digital
Working with technology teams - both internal and external -- to ensure that the business goals are being met in a timely manner
Creating and analyzing reports on traffic, sales and social media,interaction -- daily, weekly, monthly, as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements
Four-year degree from accredited university
3-5 years of relevant experience
