My name is Pete Florino a Recruiter with Kelly Services. I found your name in our system and wanted to know if you are aware of someone that would be interested in the TECHNICAL WRITER role listed below? This is an “on-going” project assignment with and indefinite end date. The position requires someone with good TECHNICAL WRITING and HTML/CSS experience. The position is with one of Kelly's Top Client's in Midland, Michigan.
The Technical Writer is accountable for Information Management (IM) of our primary Environment, Health & Safety web sites on the Intranet and Extranet.
The Technical Writer must have a strong background in technical writing and html/css coding. The individual should be capable of working with and guiding SMEs to develop, maintain, and deliver highly effective online information for web audiences. This individual must establish and maintain strong relationships/partnerships with EH&S contacts (e.g., expertise center leaders, Subject Matter Experts, etc.) and have strong understanding of EH&S goals and work processes.
The Technical Writer will serve as the web master for EH&S’ large, highly visible, heavily utilized intranet and Extranet web sites and is responsible for developing and maintaining these complex, client/customer facing, multi-tenant, content rich sites. There are thousands of pages of content and the web master integrates and maintains this content from complex, varied, and sometimes conflicting sources. This role partners with leadership, content providers, web developers, and other consultants (e.g., EUD, Public Affairs, I/S, external agencies, etc.) to meet our Client’s objectives.
Extranet also collaborates with other team members to share knowledge and leverage common solutions. The group drives and influences compliance with our Client’s information management standards, policies and contractual obligations.
Information developed and managed is often of the procedure, process, and best practice nature. Candidate should have a portfolio of written work to demonstrate proficiency.
HOURLY PAY RATE: Open (based upon experience and qualifications)
There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs.
