Job Description

Business Need / Purpose of role:

Our client is currently seeking a self-motivated anddynamic individual with a proven track record   in a Leadership Role at the level of a Country Manager for our Iraq Business. The successful candidate should have experience in successfully managing an entire facility and its P&L, sales plans, operations, customer satisfaction, finances, human resources, HSE,   and quality.   The role is offering a tax free package and full  benefits including housing and transportation. This is an immediate requirement.

 

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

  1. Must be a result  oriented Senior Manager with Proven Experience in developing operational plans, financial plans, business plans, and   budgets for managing facility performance.
  2. The candidate   must have exposure to taking   appropriate actions to ensure the aforementioned   plans are met and developing & implementing LEAN Manufacturing processes and approaches within the facility.
  3. The position will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements which   continuously improve “on time delivery”,  growth objectives,   and operational efficiencies.
  4. The candidate would have to ensure compliance to Company and Group policies & practices and

Government   regulations in all facility activities and   transactions.

  1. It would be a requirement that on a regular basis the General Manager interacts with Customers, Sales Teams,   Engineering and Operational personnel to ensure that manufacturing and repair requirements   are being made and business and financial   goals are being met.
  2. Meet repeating deadlines and financial   targets
  3. Commercially oriented, drives sales team to expand business

Person Specification – Job Knowledge /   Education and Qualifications / Personal Attributes
  1.   Bachelor’s Degree.
  2.   Strong understanding and experience of rotating equipment / Oilfield   products
  3.   Strong processing  and commercial   skills
  4.   Ability to make technical and business decisions
  5.   Strong interpersonal, communication, telephone and computer skills
  6.   Outstanding ability to develop relationship with others
  7.   Self-Starter, ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems

 

 

Nature, Scope and Requirements
  1.   Technical sales and operations experience
  2.   Strong product knowledge of  rotating equipment,   valves,   operating machine shops,   API pressure   control   equipment and OCTG knowledge will   be an added   advantage.
  3.   Proven experience   of Profit &  Loss and delivery on budgets with Strong Commercial acumen
  4.   Strong interpersonal and communication skills, leadership skills and PC   and presentation skills.
  5.   Should possess the ability to drive change
  6.   Previous experience   in working within a multi-cultural environment and diverse workforce.
  7.   Financial understanding to formulate and manage annual business plans
  8.   Knowledge of MOVEX would be an added   advantage
