Job Description

 

Location:                                 Netherlands

 

Role Overview:                       Business Analyst / Communications Consultant

                                                Wells and Reservoir Management

5 years subsurface wells experience

 

Duration:                                 9 month contract with possible roll-over/permanent options

 

 

Indicative Day Rate:              Attractive Market Rates

 

Role Activities:

 

Business Analyst Activities:

·         The specific task is to manage global and regional business and IT needs into requirements for Subsurface components of Reservoir Management IT Toolset. This will include gathering requirements from the global business as well as from regional businesses and translate these into functional requirements. Furthermore, the business analyst will be responsible to define non-functional requirements based on the tool's infrastructure needs and company?s architecture IT roadmap. The business analyst will work together with the senior business analyst already on the project.

 

Communications Consultant Activities:

·         Develop & maintain change strategy

·         Develop & maintain stakeholder approach

·         Advise on communication methods

·         Deliver communication deliverables including Engagement packs, Introductory Packs, Elevator Pitch, Release Information

·         Advise on training approach

·         Help deliver training materials (virtual & instructor-led, together with Wipro)

·         Inform regions of end-user journeys, activities to be expected, training available, act as point of contact

·         Prepare & send newsletter/blog

·         Updating of material (SharePoint, slide decks)

·         Advise Support Team (Technical Landscape Services) on requirements in terms of training required for successful after go-live support

·         Maintaining SharePoint

·         Supporting Programme Manager in Project support (workshops, PDF)

 

 

Requirements

·         Business analysis with strong upstream background, preferably Geology, Reservoir Engineering and/or Subsurface Data Management

·         Change and communications skills

·         Strengths: analytical, communications, good understanding of organisational and political challenges

·         Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
