Our client, located in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Business Analyst  for an immediate contract position.  Details include:

Seeking a Senior Business Analyst/ Team Lead to help identify business challenges and solutions with the HR, payroll, and legal business units. The candidate will use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and processes to identify, evaluate, develop and document systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business user requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Interact with senior members of the business and IT to discuss potential options to support business needs and to prioritize the projects and/or enhancements

-Responsible for on-time delivery of the projects and to manage customer expectations.

-Good knowledge in understanding the latest strends in the industry and to provide right direction for the business customers and to the internal IT team

-Managing vendor relations as and when required

-Interact with internal customers to collect business requirements and document requirements and potential solutions for issues

-Create technical requirements for developers
-Participate as a member of a cross-functional IT department with analysts and developers to deliver solutions and create/ manage the backlog of requirements
-Work with 3rd party provider to evaluate the features and functionality of the systems based on Red Hat  business requirements

-Help plan and execute the projects of small to medium size while guiding team members and internal customers
-Create status reports for management and to conduct business reviews as and when required

Required Skills & Experience:

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-7+ years experience working as a Business Analyst/Team lead, preferably in a global organization

-Experience with HR related systems required
-Experience in leading team members, leading projects, and serving as the internal client interface

-Ability to drive projects to closure

-Experience with ERP projects required; Oracle ERP system is a plus
