Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Technology Solutions Officer to support the Technology Workforce Strategy Project. The position will report into the Senior Project Manager of the Project,
Responsibilities include:
Project Planning: Create and manage project work plan Assist in managing issues and risks related to the project plan Assist PM’s with project management documentation (maintain project plans, action logs, status reports)
Financial and Project Status Reporting: Working in partnership with the TD-CT Finance department, provide input into financial reports. Update project status in Clarity - the Enterprise Project Reporting Tool
Scope Management: Assist in managing the Scope Change Order process, by coordinating approvals and storage on Sharepoint. Work with the Senior PM to manage and bring to closure all Scope Change Orders
Administrative Support: Maintain organization charts; vacation schedules and other control materials at the program level, consolidating where necessary from the sub-programs Maintain the Project Sharepoint site, working closely with the project managers to validate that information is stored securely and intuitively for ease of access to authorized users
Schedule and organize meetings, including preparation and coordination by booking the facility, distributing the agenda and required materials, arranging equipment and documenting minutes/ actions
Qualifications/Skills/Experience: Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, MS-Project Working knowledge of SDLC, PMLC and general project management concepts Working knowledge of Sharepoint set up and maintenance Working knowledge of Clarity will be an asset Ability to organize meetings, record minutes and track action items Ability to analyze issues, track down information and resolve problems of low- to medium-complexity Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well in a team environment Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels Ability to multi-task and to set priorities
Education/Accreditations: University, College or relevant equivalent education
