Regional Account Executive - AV/VTC & UC - San Antonio, TX

 

Our client, a leading provider of Video Conferencing, Audio Visual Integration and Unified Communications systems and services, is seeking several experienced Account Executives in their Texas sales region. The Regional Account Executive will be responsible for generating proposals and expand existing territory. The ideal candidate will be customer oriented, collaborative with customers and colleagues, and exhibit high levels of integrity.

 

Positions are available in the following locations:

Dallas, TX

Houston, TX

Austin, TX

San Antonio, TX

 

Responsibilities:

Develop a detailed understanding of our products and services.

Exhibit a consultative sales approach to determine a customer's visual collaboration needs.

Develop price quotations and bid responses that are complete, accurate and that are profitable

 Travel, as necessary, to cover sales responsibilities in neighboring states.

 Establish professional relationships with manufacturer sales and sales engineering personnel.

 Active and ongoing prospecting in the territory. Design and implement focused prospecting tools to include; webinars, seminars, email campaigns etc. to increase sales and expand our customer base in the designated territory.

 Perform presentations and demonstrations via on-site or virtually

Become a problem solver while developing customer trust and demonstrating high integrity

 

Education, Experience and Skills requirements

 

Bachelor?s Degree is preferred.

The successful sales professional will be highly motivated and have a proven track record of established sales success with customers.

10+ years of outside sales experience with at least 5+ years in videoconferencing sales, telecommunications services sales or AV integration sales is preferred.

Strong track record of quota achievement.

Low- maintenance, High performance candidates strongly preferred.

Strong emphasis on accountability: excellent CRM, pipeline reporting, and account management skills essential.

The sales person will possess excellent communications skills, (both verbal and written)

 Comfortable with on-line forecasting tools and have the ability to understand, present and demonstrate visual collaboration products and services to end user customers.

 Direct selling experience one or several of the following areas helpful:  audiovisual, videoconferencing, Unified Communications, VoIP, managed services, applications, network equipment , network services.

 Experience selling network services, unified communications, voip, sip, h.323, cisco telepresence, tandberg, polycom, codian, lifesize, extron, Creston, AMX products, as well as integration, professional and managed services .
