Job Description
- Prepare monthly reports consolidating and analyzing Loews Corporations results
- Review and manage the production of various Management and Board of Directors reports
- Oversee the completion and filing of various government reports
- Manage relationships with certain subsidiaries, including the accounting and reporting on significant transactions and the adoption of new accounting pronouncements
- Assist with the completion of the Company’s disclosures in quarterly public filings and annual report to shareholders
Qualifications
- B.S. in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant
- Six or more years total experience with three to five years in public accounting with emphasis on S.E.C. clientele is preferred
- Significant management experience and research of technical accounting issues and implementation
- Corporate experience should include consolidations and financial statement preparation with a heavy emphasis on generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP")
- Strong written and oral communication skills
