Nature & Scope: Incumbent is responsible for developing the preventative maintenance programs on all aspects of production equipment. Troubleshoots, maintains, repairs any electrical, pneumatic problems with machines. Fabricates replacement parts from blueprints. Sets up production machines. Works closely with Engineers. Performs general duties such as welding, mig gas, stick, building maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, etc), as necessary. Follows established safety policies and procedures such as lock-out-tag-out.

 

Requirements & Qualifications: AAS Degree preferred. 5+ years experience in maintenance mechanic role in manufacturing/industrial environment performing machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Cartons and/or adhesives experience a plus. Experience with electrical, pneumatics. Welding/fabricating experience a plus. Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude/technical skills. Strong problem-solving, decision-making skills. Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple responsibilities/projects/duties simultaneously.

 

Specs & Details: Contract - Hire. $20 - $25/hour, depending on experience. Trains on 1st-shift, then moves to 2nd or 3rd after 3 months. Buffalo, NY location.
