On behalf of our prestigious client in Qatar we are now recruiting a Long Term Planner

RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

The Long Term Planner will be responsible for all aircraft planning processes, scheduling and planning layovers, development of a long term planning schedule and updating the associated IT system by:

• Supervising, coordinator and organising planning processes
• Scheduling maintenance checks and coordinating with Flight Operations
• Preparing long term layover and short term layover plans and work package forecasts
• Planning maintenance checks and coordinating with the Manager Maintenance
• Managing work packages for checks up to A checks
• Developing work cards and updating in TRAX
• Clarifying queries regarding work packages and work cards
• Coordinating with logistics department for material provisioning of scheduled checks and work packages
• Supporting Manager Technical Records & Planning and Director Technical Control in regards to their duties
• Maintaining and updating aircraft technical records

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma in Engineering
• Airline experience in Aeronautical Engineering or in Maintenance Management and Aviation IT Systems
• Solid general aviation knowledge

• Negotiation skills
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent business English proficiency (oral/written)
