Expense Control Assistant (closed)
Globally renowned Investment Bank is going through a period of expansion within the City of London office and our client is looking to build its Finance and Controls division with the aim of working on the Expense Controls team. Duties will include:
- Provide assistance on month end postings of Bank’s expenses
- Preparation of monthly expense accruals and prepayments and uploading of journals
- Maintenance of the Fixed asset register for Bank
- Assist with preparation of office cash book analysis
- Review of other European office cash books and expenses
- Analysis and reporting of Banks expenses
- Provide assistance with daily monitoring of the personnel suspense accounts
- Ad-hoc expense projects
To qualify for this excellent opportunity, ideally educated to degree level and Part-Qualified Accountant with at least 1 – 2 years experience gained within the accounting environment covering expenses within the Financial Service sector. At the current moment, our client is giving priority to people with Financial Services experience, however, all applications are still welcome and will be considered.
