 Develop and implement written communications strategies for the internal and external promotion of patient care, clinical research and programming initiatives. Serve as a reporter for events such as press conferences. Write engaging articles for in-house newsletters, press materials and websites. Provide guidance to media relations staff. Help supervise freelance writers. Finalize written communications for distribution (e.g., press releases, speeches, online content, media activity reports, white papers, editorials, etc.). Manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

 Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism or Communications and at least 5 years of related experience. Experience writing press releases highly desired. Prefer those with Hospital, Medical, Pharma and related work history only.

 Previous writing experience for a magazine or newspaper highly desired. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills are expected, as is the ability to translate medical terminology into lay language.
