We are seeking individuals with extensive experience in Project Management in the area of custom application development that are interested in a challenging and rewarding career in consulting. As a Catapult Systems consultant you will have the opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft technologies and solutions in a dynamic work environment.
- Managing project scope, budget, and client expectations; primary client contact
- Leading teams of architects and/or developers in a Professional Services environment
- Providing project review, and project milestone sessions for Client project sponsors
- Conducting a formal project management methodology (experience with both waterfall and agile/iterative methods is required)
- Leading analysis and requirements workshops, and to conduct interviews with key stakeholders at Client companies
- Responsible for generation of the requirement specification document or provide oversight to the BA team for that deliverable
- Mentoring team members and review work deliverables for accuracy
- Managing and delegating responsibilities and priorities to technical lead and development staff
- Preparing formal documentation (requirements specifications, change request, test plan, project plan)
- Must be able to travel locally in the DFW area to visit multiple client sites; and to work from our location in the Los Colinas area when not with clients
- Demonstrates experience managing software projects in a professional services environment; teams from two to twenty full time equivalents that last several months in duration – must have experience managing multiple millions dollars project
- Strong background in custom application development with Microsoft technologies
- Experience managing several simultaneous projects
- Strong communication skills, particularly with regards to business writing and verbal communication
- At least eight years of project management experience
- Strong analysis skills and ability to make critical business recommendations
- Experience using Microsoft Project or another project scheduling and budget reporting tool
- Strong understanding of earned value and the ability to process budget and status reports weekly for multiple projects
- Strong understanding and experience with Issue and Risk management
- Credible and professional presence; ability to think strategically
- Proven organizational skills and team management ability
- Proven client management skill
- Experience working with a Microsoft Certified Partner is highly preferred
- PMP Certification
- Scrum Master Certification
- Experience leading projects within the following tools and products from Microsoft:
- .Net (Custom Development)
- SharePoint
- Active Directory
- Exchange
- SQL Server and the Broader Business Intelligence Suite (SSAS, SSRS, SSIS)
- Desktop Deployment and Optimization (SCCM, SCOM, App-V, Med-V)
