Job Description


 

Responsible   for planning, reviewing, testing and validation of integrations for data   management systems. Works closely with BI and ETL development teams to ensure   data integrity and continuous product improvement. Responsibilities include   interaction with developers and end users to develop and execute test   strategies for ETL testing of highly complex, high volume, data warehousing   initiatives. Ability to test complex transformations and mappings.   Responsible for technical architecture and optimization/performance testing   using SQL backend services running on high-availability Microsoft   infrastructure. Middleware includes Java/J2EE, .NET, Struts, Hibernate and   Spring. The Data Quality Assurance Analyst must be able to work   independently, developing and executing test cases including writing complex   SQL queries in most phases of database analysis. Develops, publishes, and   implements test plans. Writes, maintains, and executes manual and automated   test cases/scripts in ALM. Develops, implements, and supports quality   assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as   defect densities and open defect counts. Uses SQA (Software Quality   Assurance) methodologies, techniques and tools. Validates test data and   results by developing appropriate queries and utilities. Assumes additional   responsibilities as assigned.

  • Develop, write and execute test plans and scripts for        identifying and tracking defects and fixes in product development,        software application development, information systems, and operations        systems.

  • Direct and support the implementation and ongoing use        of test tools and data collection tools.
  •   
  • Prepares project test reports and metrics as        necessary.
  •   
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain        effective, trusting relationships with department directors, managers,        administrators, vendors and others.

  • Demonstrates fiscal responsibility with all Company        assets.
