Job Description

 

One of our clients on the operator side is looking for a Senior Jacket Project Engineer
Overall purpose of job
  • Ensure that the EPC Jacket Contractor fulfils the project requirements during the detail engineering phase 
 
Responsibilities
  • Familiarisation with the Contract requirements
  • Review of contractor documentation; Design reports and Drawings.
  • Follow up of Design Verification contractor (DnV)
  • Participate and facilitate in interface meetings towards all interface parties, i.e topside-, drilling-, pipeline- and installation-contractor
  • Participate and follow up of quality audits of EPC contractor and his subcontractors when applicable
  • Assist in evaluation of Variation Order Requests and Variation Orders
  • Contribute to a good working climate within Company EPC Contractor follow-up organisation
  • Ensure good multi-discipline communication
  • Perform work according to the client?s expectations and in accordance with governing documents
 
Required skills
  • Good knowledge and experience in contract work, quantity measurements and project planning
  • Structured, systematic and target driven
  • Good oral/written Norwegian and English (or at least English)
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
 
Qualificatiuons
  • Masters degree in structural or marine engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of general offshore experience whereof atleast 5 years experience in design of jacket structures.
