Coberon Chronos Consulting's client is a world renowned developer of cocoa based beverages. The company also develops cappuccinos, toppings, whiteners and teas.
They continue to grow and are looking for a new member to join their R&D team.
This is an opportunity to join the leader in cocoa based beverages and be in the front line of developing chocolate beverages for the vending industry, working with international customers and products. The position will allow you to use your creativity to find the beverages for tomorrow.
As product developer you will take an active part in the development of new products with the focus on innovation. The work is project oriented and you will have responsibility for the full development cycle. Tasks can vary from adjusting and updating existing products to developing new customer-specific products. You will work closely with marketing, sales, production, quality and other functions within our client’s group as well as with external customers. There is a laboratory and a pilot plant where you will conduct experiments. You will also plan and supervise full-scale trials in the factory. Documenting your activities in SAP, AXAPTA and other relevant databases will be part of your daily job. You report directly to the R&D Manager.
The successful candidate holds a bachelor’s/master´s degree in food technology. You bring 5 – 10 years development experience in a food processing industry. Knowledge of food chemistry, nutrition, powders and especially process technologies, such as spray drying and/or agglomeration, and experience of working with non-dairy creamers is essential.
You are an independent, yet team oriented, flexible and dynamic professional. You are very customer focused and experienced in communicating and collaborating with people of various nationalities and at all levels. Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is essential; any additional languages would be an advantage. You should be prepared to travel 10 days a year.
