Responsibilities and prospects for Accountant include:
- Close the financial month end, including, but not limited to, posting all journal entries some exceptions
- Prepare detailed work papers and schedules for all balance sheet accounts and ensure monthly financial book is completed and signed off in a timely manner
- Prepare the bank reconciliation
- Enter forecasts and actual financial numbers into Hyperion
- Update the CAPEX book and report all fixed asset additions and disposals to Stephanie Stoltmann
- Prepare the Weekly Sales Report and UK weekly Sales Flash every Monday
- Reconcile 3M UK consignment inventory on a weekly basis
- Prepare an inventory cycle count schedule and initiate cycle counts every two weeks
- Prepare flow charts and narratives for all internal control processes for review by the financial controller
- Monitor and Update new customer and vendor setup
- Maintain customer master files
- Oversee and manage accounts receivable
- Gather information regarding credit decisions made by the Financial Controller
- Maintain customer master files
- Ensure all pricing is updated in the customer master price files Hourly payroll processing, including calculation of the payroll accrual
- Limited human resource responsibilities such as maintaining hourly payroll files and assisting employees in their health insurance needs, and coordinate Benefits and wellness fair
- Manage cycle count process and assist with yearend physical inventory
- Enter KPI data on a weekly basis; report to Richmond on a monthly basis
- Work with Purchasing on pricing, cost reductions, on time delivery
- Assist/review the accuracy of the bills of materials for new part numbers for calculation of their standard cost
- Ensure that the contribution margins for all new products are in line with the divisional policy
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting preferred
