Position Summary:

Our direct client’s Digital Quality Assurance team is seeking a Mobile Quality Assurance Test Analyst with expertise in AGILE & AUTOMATION.  This position will act as a lead, tester/analyst for the mobile project team made up of IT technical team, Business Liaisons, Business Systems Analysts, Copywriter, Information Architect, Creative Design, Scrum Master & QA Testers throughout the QA life cycle, ensuring adherence to the business and functional requirements as well as improving the user experience of our mobile web audience on Starwood.com, SPG.com, Sheraton.com, Westin.com, FourPoints.com, LuxuryCollection.com, StRegis.com, Whotels.com. Element.com, Aloft.com, and LeMeridien.com.  

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Work with onshore project team and offshore QA testing team to drive timely Project Delivery
  • Contribute and help drive the Agile QA Strategy for the mobile project
  • Contribute to and drive automation needs for the project in support of agile
  • Automate test scripts for the mobile sprints
  • Contribute to and drive performance testing strategy and needs for each sprint as appropriate
  • Manage quality consistency across all branded mobile web sprints
  • Liaise with agile team and perform DAILY KT for offshore testing QA team as appropriate
  • Set daily and sprint expectations/tasks with Offshore Testing Team
  • Ensure all business and functional requirements are satisfactorily delivered in each sprint
  • Ensure acceptance criteria is met
  • Ensure all test assets are traced backwards to requirements and forward to defects as appropriate
  • Conduct data validation and integrity tests
  • Document and analyze testing results
  • Track bugs to resolution
  • Authoring of Quality Assurance Artifacts
  • Generate and circulate Daily Status testing reports on Sprints/project

 

Skills/Competencies Required:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5 – 6 years of experience in Mobile & Web Quality Assurance testing and analysis.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience using the Agile Methodologies in Mobile QA
  • 1 – 2 Leading Mobile Quality Assurance
  • Proven knowledge of the full QA life cycle, testing methodologies and test documents
  • Proven expertise in leading a large size mobile web project QA
  • Proficient knowledge of Quality Center and experience implementing QC in agile environment, creating test assets, defect management, reporting in agile methodology
  • Strong team interaction skills;
  • Ability to identify project risks EARLY and implement mitigation strategies to maintain high business and functional quality and on time delivery
  • Proven expertise in automation for mobile web products and applications
  • Agile certification
  • Working knowledge of popular IOS and devices
  • Very detailed oriented
  • Familiarity with at least 1 programming language, preferably HTML, XML, JAVA, ASP, JSP, J2EE,
  • Experienced and expert in mobile QA practices under agile methodology
  • Strong experience in delivering results while working in fast paced, dynamic project environment working with only offshore resources.
