| Position Overview | The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the sales budget for its given area. He/She must monitor closely his/her team activities and ensure that they clearly understand their sales objectives and they regularly report on it. He/She has the responsibility of hiring, training and motivating his team members to ensure proper work practices. He/She is required to get involved in the selling process and expected to support the sales activities of his/her team in major account. He/She will ensure interface with company’s distributors sales force and Company’s RVP for coordination with his/her sales team. The Regional Sales Manager is also responsible to manage equipment and material in his/her territory and to enforce corporate policies and directives. | Responsibilities | Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Initiates the building and implementation of a sales plan and a yearly sales budget for his area of responsibility. Monitors sales activities and reports on a weekly basis. Provides monthly and quarterly forecasts. Plans, coordinates sales events that will increase the business and help to deliver the sales budget. Works with Marketing/Communications# to influence design, adoption and implementation of marketing programs that increase revenue and are perceived as value-added by the Sales and Customer Support teams. Develops and uses sales prospecting database to dispense and track leads. Monitor and follow up all sales activities through ACCPAC CRM. Enforce and train team member on the Sales cycle process and the use of CRM. Works with Marketing/Communications to ensure that the field is stocked with collateral materials. Analyzes and reports on competitor and customer activities in the field. Ensures that each respective channel is trained and equipped with all sales tools. Monitor and keep track of all equipments and tools that the company is providing to his team. Makes regular follow up with existing partners if applicable for increase distribution and additional sales leads. Coordinates and approves quotations as it relates to systems sales, pay- per-use and disposables within the geography assigned. Enforces and adheres to all policies and SOP regarding the interaction with HCP (Health Care Professional), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training. |
| Requirements | * Must live in or close to territory. Ideal candidate location would be in the North Virginia, Baltimore or DC Metro area. * 10 years in medical devices sales management, dental industry experience a plus. * Experience in a complex sales environment like capital good sales. * Experience in building a budget. * Experience with new technologies introduction. * Must have a four year degree |
