Job Description
| Qualifications: |
| High school education or equivalent. Minimum 3 months experience in a machining environment. Basic blueprint reading skills. Demonstrated above average attendance performance. |
| Responsibilities: |
| Perform the various duties required to operate machine tool processes in a high production machining environment. These duties may include but not limited to the following: Basic understanding of shop drawings and the ability to identify critical features. Make minor offsets as required to ensure that production conforms to requirements. Identify and change inserts as specified by the set-up sheet, supervisor, or cell leader. Handle components in the proper manner to prevent damage to critical surfaces. Achieve production standards identified as the rate. Produce components that meet or exceed drawing specifications. Use basic shop math to calculate offsets and properly complete timecards. |
