The Company:

Situated on the banks of the Thames in Henley is a lovely Gastro Pub and Dining Room which is very popular with the local trade. Run by an independent operator they are currently looking for a General Manager to take control of the site. The benefits of the role include a salary of up to £35,000, bonus, pension and healthcare.

The Job Role:

As the General Manager you will report into the Operations Manager and you will have full autonomy of the site. You will be responsible for overseeing service, stocks, training and development of staff and some P&L responsibility extending to cost controls and budgets.

The individual we are looking for:

With high service standards and expectations the ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working for a fresh food, quality led gastro pub operator. Knowledge of Cask Ales is desirable as is experience in fine dining. You will have excellent communication skills, be presentable and passionate, with a focus on customer service.
