Lab Technician Level-1
Processes and fabricate orders for a dental lab.
Must follow specific manufacturing processes and quality standards for all model fabrication and the manufacturing of restorations.
Perform all work within Company-specific manufacturing processes, safety and quality standards, as well as FDA regulations.
Prepare models, to include washing, drying, pinning, sorting and articulating.
Must demonstrate a high degree of manual dexterity, including working with one’s hands to hold small parts and tools and good hand – eye coordination.
Combine cases with materials in accordance with all work instructions.
Move cases to work area as outlined in work instructions.
Refer to documents and/or lead directions to resolve any discrepancies with orders.
Prepare shipments for customers.
Using a visual check, verify that each case has the proper materials and meets the customer’s requirements.
Perform various production-related activities under direct supervision.
Cross-train in other areas for Production or administration in order to gain a well-rounded knowledge of departmental job functions.
Must demonstrate the ability to attend to details over an entire work shift.
Demonstrated ability to read documents and changes to specifications in English.
Ability to use a computer and demonstrate flexibility to learn new systems and on-line processes as necessary.
Good organizational skills and the ability to follow specific directions accurately.
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
