Sr. RFIC Engineer

 Job Description:

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MSEE with 5 years experience. Thorough understanding of RF design techniques and design tools is required. Strong
knowledge and experience is required in Si Bipolar and BiCMOS processes. Good “hands on” testing and
troubleshooting skills. The ideal candidate will also have previous experience in TV tuners and/or high performance
PLL/VCOs.

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, responsible for design and test of RF ICs consisting of low noise amplifiers,
oscillators, power amplifiers, mixers, phase locked loops, and attenuators.

DUTIES:
1. Design single function and multifunction RF ICs for high volume multimedia applications. Employ various CAD tools
for circuit simulation and IC layout.

2. Evaluate designs and implement necessary modifications to enhance performance, reduce cost, and improve yield.

3 Propose circuit topologies, component specifications, and lineups to meet various subsystem requirements.

4. Interface with customers to define specifications, promote product and provide technical support as necessary.

5. Train and assist RF technicians to perform related testing and design tasks.

6. Maintain familiarity with state-of-the-art RF IC design.

7. Maintain open communication with all group members and thoroughly document work.
